April Monthly Mission Partner

Our Monthly Mission Partner for April is the Home of the Innocents (the “Home”). Established in 1880 by The Episcopal Church, the Home, 505 East Chestnut St., enriches the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness, by providing residential and community-based behavioral health services, therapeutic foster care and adoption services, supportive services for homeless young adults, and long-term care for medically complex or terminally ill children. Stay after worship on Sunday April 21 to support the Home at our Silver Tea in Board Hall. Please bring “fancy finger food” that is already plated (little sandwiches, dips with veggies, cheese spreads/crackers, desserts, etc.) Beverages will be provided. We will also have a kids’ table. Please mark your platter/container with your name taped to the bottom and place it in the kitchen before the service. We will also welcome Fran Sanders, Outreach Coordinator for the Home, and learn about the wonderful work being done for the children. Learn more about the Home at homeoftheinnocents.org/. Keep them in your prayers and give generously at the tea by placing your gift in the special silver bowl at the door in Board Hall (checks can be made out to St. Luke’s with Silver Tea in the memo line) to support this important ministry.
