Nursery

Our nursery is available for infants and children under three years of age. St. Luke’s nursery is run by two trained staff members who will take loving care of your children.

Nursery services are available during our 10:00am Sunday service. Nursery hours are extended on special occasions such as our annual parish meeting, Easter Sunday and Christmas Eve.

NURSURY HOURS

8:45am to 11:15am

LOCATION

Our nursery is located to our Undercroft, direction underneath the church at the bottom of the back stairs.

SIGNING IN

Parents and guardians must sign in their child at drop-off. Parents must leave a mobile phone number and place their device on silent/vibrate in case a nursery worker needs to contact them during worship. The nursery is close to the sanctuary, and all parents are required to be on site while their children are in the nursery.

WHAT TO BRING

Please label diaper bags. Include in your bag a pacifier, at least two diapers, a labeled bottle – and any personal items your child may need. Please label personal items before arrival. If you happen to forget diapers or wipes, we keep a small supply on hand.

HEALTH GUIDELINES

For the protection of all children and caregivers, please do not bring your child to the nursery if he or she is ill. If a child becomes ill while in the nursery, parents will be asked to take the child home. Nursery staff cannot administer medication.

Children who have experienced any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours should not come to the Nursery or Sunday School:

  • Nausea

  • Fever

  • Diarrhea

  • Vomiting

  • Undiagnosed rashes or sores

  • On-going cough

  • Runny eyes and nose

Children should also be kept at home if they show any symptoms of childhood illnesses such as measles, chicken pox, mumps, influenza, strep throat or head lice.

WHAT TO BRING

Children ages four and older are encouraged to attend the 10:00am service with their parents and participate in Children’s Chapel with their peers.
