“Acolytes” are defined as lay people who belong to the highest of the minor orders. Their duties concern attendance at the Altar and carrying candles.
The Acolyte Program helps young people gain confidence and learn responsibility while proudly serving the congregation. St. Luke’s Acolytes are vital to the beauty of our services and range in age from middle school to high school aged. Everyone grade five or higher is invited to serve.
