For our Monthly Mission Partner in December, we are partnering with several groups to support a pediatric children’s hospital in Ukraine. You can hear the amazing story of this partnership after church on December 15th, where parishioner Bernie Strenecky will tell us about his long family relationship with St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Scranton, PA, where this idea was born. The donations from St. Luke’s will join others in purchasing medical supplies through SOS, who will send a container directly to Novomoskovsk Central Regional Hospital in southeastern Ukraine. This Christmas season please keep in your prayers the least of these, and especially the children of Ukraine, and give generously so that we can provide supplies to a children’s hospital in need.
