While St. Luke’s searches for a permanent Rector, the vestry have invited a number of wonderful guest clergy to celebrate mass and grace our pulpit with their thoughtful teachings.
Reverend Anne Harris
Reverend Anne is a familiar face at St. Luke’s as she has been a member of our parish for a few years. She is a native of New Zealand and was raised by a family of devout Anglicans. Rev. Anne married her husband Marc, who is from New York, and they moved to the United States with their two children in 1985. After 20 years of teaching and raising children, she went to seminary and received her Master of Divinity from the Virginia Theological Seminary. Rev. Anne served in the priesthood in South Florida, Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and Columbus, Mississippi for eleven years. When Rev. Anne retired from the priesthood, she and Marc moved to Louisville to be close to their three grandchildren. Her many hobbies include gardening, hiking, knitting, needlepoint, word puzzles, and writing – Anne has written four novels!
