Heather Hunt, Preschool Director email@example.com
Heather is the director at St. Luke’s Preschool. She has been full circle in our program. She first came to our school as a parent with two boys. She later volunteered her teaching skills and offered a math enrichment program to the fours and Jr. Kindergarten class. Soon afterwards she became a full time teacher for St. Luke’s, teaching the junior kindergarten class. Mrs. Hunt graduated from Murray State University, where she received her teaching certificate in Elementary and Special Education. She continued her graduate studies at the University of Louisville, where she received her master’s degree in the field of Visual Impairments with a Certification in Orientation and Mobility. Her teaching degrees have offered her the opportunities to teach at The DePaul School, Highland Middle School, and Sacred Heart Model School. She also served as an internal facilitator in a research project conducted by the University of Louisville and the University of California, Berkley that focused its efforts in the best teaching practices for teaching math to preschool children. Mrs. Hunt loves the outdoors and water sports. She loves being with family and being a part of the St. Luke’s community.
