Music Ministry

Chancel Choir
High School - Adult
The Chancel Choir sings at the 10:00 Eucharist each Sunday and for other services and special programs throughout the year. The choir is especially appreciated for their annual prelude to the Christmas Eve service at 10:30 p.m. The choir’s dedication of time and talent leads and enhances the worship with its traditional Anglican repertoire.
Rehearsal: Wednesday evenings 7:15 – 8:45 p.m. during the school year

Reflections
The contemporary service on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. offers an attractive alternative to traditional music and worship. “Reflections”, under the direction of Jon Jacoby, plays a variety of Christian contemporary music, showcasing the talents of our volunteer musicians and singers. Reflections is also featured at Mass in the Grass and Christmas Lessons and Carols Rehearsal: Thursday evenings 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

                Nancy Barlitt - vocal
Linda Diaz - soft percussion and vocal

Music is integral to our spiritual lives and plays a vital role in the liturgy at St. Luke’s. We have a diverse program, rich in talent and tradition, with opportunities for participation by all ages, ranging from children’s choirs, a traditional Chancel Choir and the contemporary praise band “Reflections”. In May 2013 we dedicated the new organ built by Martin Pasi and Associates, Roy, Washington to the glory of God.
