This heartwarming story of devotion and faithfulness records the life of Ruth, a Moabite widow who leaves her homeland to live with her widowed mother-in-law in Bethlehem. God honors her commitment by guiding her to the field of Boaz where she gathers grain and eventually finds a husband! Ruth is one of only four women mentioned in Jesus' geneology. Join us for this wonderful study of a beloved book of the Old Testament. Please note that there has been a change for the new year. There will be no catered dinner on Wednesday nights. We will have our usual half-hour service and then the program will begin at 6;30. Our Lenten series this year is "Exploring Forgiveness" and will be taught by our own Robert Thompson. Mark your calendars now for this deeply spiritual program. |
