FOYER GROUP
Want to get to know fellow parishioners better? Do you enjoy good food with friends? If the answer is “Yes”, then Foyer Dinner Groups might just be for you. FOYER is the name of rotating dinner groups made up of new and old members, couples, and singles.
The Small Dinner (FOYERS) group program is a great way to meet other members of the church, young & old alike. Foyer’s is a program of small groups made up of diverse members within the St. Luke’s church family who meet regularly for approximately 4 – 6 months, usually monthly for a light meal & fellowship.
NOW DON’T THINK THAT THIS IS JUST FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN COOK AND WHO HAVE LARGE HOUSES WHERE FOLKS CAN HOST DINNER PARTIES AND PLAY HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTEST? When it is your time to host, you may cook at your house and have people over -OR- you can have potlucks at your home or at the Parish Hall. You can picnic at a park or go “Dutch-Treat” at a restaurant. The idea is to get together, have fun, and get to know each other, SO, if you don’t cook or have a large enough place to entertain, you can still be part of a Foyer Group.
If you have any questions about the Foyer group, contact Caroline Eddleman at 253-0135, Calvin Riley Pinney at 245-1623, or Laurinda Stokes at 396-9123.
FOYER IS A GOOD EVENT FOR NEWCOMERS --- AND ALL.
